1. Who We Are

LoanCalc ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website and application at calculate-your-loan.com. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the data controller.

2. Overview of Data Processing

2.1 Client-Side Processing

LoanCalc is a purely client-side web application. All calculations (loan payments, amortization schedules, interest computations) are performed exclusively in your browser using JavaScript. No personal data is transmitted to our servers.

2.2 No Data Storage by Us

We do not store any personal data on our servers. The values you enter (loan amount, interest rate, term, etc.) remain exclusively in your browser and are deleted when you close the application.

3. Google Ads and Advertising Cookies

3.1 Google Ads

We use Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords), a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to advertise our application. As part of this service, cookies and similar technologies may be used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you relevant advertisements.

3.2 Google Conversion Tracking

When you click on one of our Google Ads advertisements and subsequently visit our website, a cookie is stored on your device. These cookies allow Google to attribute your visit to the preceding advertisement.

  • __gads, __gpi, __gac (Google Ads cookies)
  • Expiry: up to 13 months

3.3 Google Analytics (if enabled)

If you have consented to analytics, we use Google Analytics to measure website traffic. The following data may be collected:

  • Referral source

5. Third-Party Sharing

Personal data is not shared with third parties unless:

  • We are legally obligated to do so.
  • It involves the Google services described above.

We use HTTPS encryption for all connections. Since we do not store personal data on our servers, the risk of data loss is minimized.
